Look For Clear Ideas That Can Be Explained In 30 Seconds Or Less

It is important to encourage staff to develop ideas. Allow them to describe their ideas in 15 to 30 seconds. If they can be concise and come up with an idea in a really clear way, it means they are onto something.

Trust is an important thing. When running the company it’s best to take a following approach towards your employees; I have a lot of confidence in you, I have a lot of trust in you, we’re transparent — we share where we are, where we’re going and what’s going on.
If you think employees are there to mess up, and it’s your job to prevent them from messing up. That’s not going to be very motivating to good people.
